Respect for copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you are a rightsholder (or an authorized representative) and believe that content on subtitles.help infringes your rights, request its removal and we will act without undue delay.

How to submit a removal request (takedown)

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Takedown" and:

your details & your capacity (rightsholder or authorized representative)
the link(s) (URL) to the content at issue on subtitles.help
a description of the protected work that is affected
a good-faith statement that the specific use is not authorized
a statement that the information is accurate and that you are acting lawfully.

Procedure

Upon a valid request, we remove or disable the specific content without undue delay and notify the user who uploaded it. The user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was mistaken. In cases of repeated infringements we terminate the account.

This procedure follows the «notice & takedown» approach (equivalent to the DMCA / European e-commerce legislation): we do not pre-screen content, but we remove it as soon as we are validly notified.
